How do you stay positive and focus on the joy each day?

Would love to hear from you all about different ways, tricks or habits that help you keep positive thoughts toward the many things that we experience as a TBI survivor on even a daily basis.
I try to get up in the morning and spend even as little as 5 – 10 minutes reading a devotional, Bible or poem and reflecting on my day ahead and the words that have been given to me. Sometimes I make small notes in a journal I keep just for these mornings.
