The following recipe is inspired by Bob N. who said:

Don’t ask “What can Hanson House do for me?”

Instead ask “What can we accomplish together?”

This is what team accomplishment can do to have a flavor. This recipe name was voted by the members and is called Hanson House Heavenly Hash.

To a covered crock-pot set on high with 4 cups of water and cook for 2 to 2 1/2 hours add:

  • Jeff added 1/2 BELL PEPPER (red or green) diced.
  • Amy added ZUCCHINI (green or yellow) diced with skin on.
  • Roy added 2 EARS OF CORN cut kernels from cob.
  • Andy added GARLIC 2 to 4 sections (depending on size).
  • Paul added GREEN BEANS about 12 cut in half.
  • Amy added 1/2 cup chopped CHIVE ONIONS.
  • Paul added 10 small YELLOW TOMATOES sliced in half.
  • Many members help dig POTATOES from Roy’s farm which were diced and boiled separately for 8 to 10 minutes and added in the last part of cooking.
  • Recipe may be modified with the following:
  • Use Chicken Stock instead of water.
  • Add Sharwoods Tandoori Masala or a favorite curry powder.
  • Add Agava Syrup or honey to taste.
  • Salt/Pepper to taste.
  • Add Nutmeg to taste.

Serve as a soup or thicken with mashed potato flakes and serve as a stew over rice or gluten free spaghetti.
