HansonHouse Traumatic Brain Injury Clubhouse is the first program in Ohio based upon the true Clubhouse model of community re-entry for people with traumatic brain injury. At the present time we reach approximately 200+ people in Northern Ohio, with some kind of service, while intensively engaging a smaller group with weekly services in the Berea area.
What services does Hanson House provide?
- Recovery/relearning routines and habits of effective living.
- Assistance by peers and community volunteers that foster independent living.
- Match marketable skills to employment opportunities or match skills to volunteering opportunities that benefit the community.
There are many TBI survivors, but currently only one Ohio organization that operates on the Clubhouse model. Because of this we have a wait list and a process to candidate for formal membership. Call us at (440) 234-9900 to find out more.
